Walnut Dining Room Table

This table is fabulous.
It is made using black walnut, and you can see the light areas on top are sap wood, a couple of the legs also have sap wood. The inlay work is done in white oak.
Sap wood comes from the outer edges of the tree. As you move to the center of the tree, the wood takes on its dark color
The table measures 41 1/2 inches wide by 8 foot long. It stands 30 3/4 inches off the floor.
As you can see from the photo the ends are nicely rounded so as you move around the table there are no sharp edges.
If you'd like, matching chairs can be made for the table.
